Since the last game they threw out, Illusion has changed its engine to a new one that is not much mod friendly.
That`s pretty much the reason why that game was a comercial failure.
From what I read, this one also runs on the same engine that the last one.

No new mechanis, no unexpected events like the Artificial series. The threesome and lesbian positions have not been changed (just added for show), the only thing the manufacturer did was change the name of the game and the company.
I used to really like Illusion’s games until “PlayHome”, after that it was just a long period of frustration when “AI Shoujo”, “Honey Select 2”, “Room Girls” were just copies of “Honey Select”.
“Koikatsu” is a more complete version of the graphics but inferior in the gameplay of the “Academy” series.
